ADO.NET Entity Framework: How. What. Why.

If your interested in what’s coming in the next version of ADO.NET you’ll want to checkout the ADO.NET Entity Framework: How. What. Why. video on channel 9.  If you’ve already read the ADO.NET Next gen documents on MSDN there isn’t a whole lot in the video that you probably don’t already know.  Hopefully the first CTP will drop soon!

Thanks for the heads up. I will watch. I'm a tad confused on what the difference of this vs. what ScottG shows with LINQ and SQLMetal.

I as well would like a CTP. The LINQ CTP was too buggy - I await a new one for it as well.

There is a lot of overlap between Linq to Sql (aka DLinq) and the ADO.NET Entity Framework. I think they should merge the two and release a single solution, otherwise there is going to be a lot of confused developers trying to figure out which one they're supposed to be using for their application. One problem area deserves one complete solution from Microsoft, not 2!
